Structural & Engineering Adhesives

Scotch-Weld structural adhesives are two-part, high-performance bonding systems used to join metals, composites, and engineering plastics where mechanical fasteners or welding are not practical. The line spans epoxy, urethane, and acrylic chemistries suited to different substrate combinations, cure speeds, and environmental demands. Packaging and required mix ratios vary by product. Selected systems are supplied in Duo-Pak cartridges or bulk containers and may use 1:1, 1:2, 10:1, or other product-specific mixing configurations. Confirm the specified mix ratio and equipment compatibility for the exact adhesive before use.

Industrial Tapes

3M's tape portfolio ranges from permanent structural bonding tapes to temporary transfer adhesives, foam cushioning tapes, and specialty conductive or shielding tapes. VHB tapes are engineered to replace fasteners and liquid adhesives entirely, while transfer and ATG tapes offer fast, mess-free lamination for graphics, gaskets, and componentry.

Spray, Contact, & Hot Melt Adhesives

3M spray, contact, and hot melt adhesives support assembly processes ranging from broad-area coverage and flexible-material bonding to rapid-set production applications. Selecting the appropriate technology depends on the substrates, required open or set time, application method, production rate, and expected service conditions.

3M Reclosable Fasteners

3M reclosable fastening systems include Dual Lock mushroom-profile fasteners, click straps, and conventional hook-and-loop products for removable panels, access covers, components, and repeated-access assemblies. System selection depends on the desired closure strength, reopening frequency, attachment surface, environmental exposure, and installation method.

Application Equipment & Accessories

3M application equipment includes static mixing nozzles, manual and pneumatic adhesive dispensers, and dedicated ATG tape applicators. Equipment must be matched to the product format, cartridge volume, mix ratio, connection interface, desired dispense rate, and production method to support controlled, repeatable application.
